I thought this part was going to be easy

After i purchased a used part from Ebay, i was going to start sanding that vinyl looking texture down and get ready to primer the part, BUT i started to analyze the part more and found some concerns.

The mounting points are very tight. Before i start to make a mould i want to hear how some of you would mould this part.
One slight problem is this tight radius flange which is important on the part. There is an identical flange on the top fo the part (not pictured)

THEN, look at these freaking side mounting female tabs. These tabs are really going to throw things off and make things complicated.

My question: In regards to the side mounting point, is this going to be possible to mould? Would it just be easier for me to machine an identical female tab and mount it on later?

I do have access to some manual machines and I was just thinking i can machine this female flange and mount it to the flat panel later. Then, all i would have to worry about is that tight radius for the mounting flange.

whatca think?

is this just a plug that removes a airbag from the car? and what car does it belong to?

I hope that is NOT a BMW M3 or M5 glove box door… or i’m gonna have to kick your rear end in lol. I got outbid on one is why i ask. LOL  Of course i’m just joking about getting angry over it.

Without at least 5 or 6 photos i couldn’t say how I would make the mold.

Firstly have you sucessfully made moulds before? If not practice through making some simple pieces.

Secondly its very often easier to bond mountings etc into a moulding, after you have made it rather than trying to incorporate them in the part.

You need to carefully look at the dimensions of the mounting points, the strength required, and then decide whether or not to bond in metal parts, or incorporate mounts in your mouldings.

I try to make M3 parts. what other pictures r needed
