I need epoxy resin recommendation for my high temperature needs?

I am looking for a epoxy resin that can be cured in room temperature that can withstand temperatures of about 150-200F when cured. I’ve tried a couple types of epoxy resins but they seem to demold at about 180F. Can someone recommend a good resin system for my application? I am building accessory parts that will be installed in the engine bay of a car. I will be using a wet layup technique that will be vacuum bagged with a pump. I am located in the US. Thanks.

Contact inquiries@appliedpoleramic.com and see what they have. I know SC-15 -79, and FCS-2 is 200-300f post cure, meaning the service will be pretty high. 24-48hr cure time (faster with applied heat), and a bagged post-cure is recommended. If you can’t bag and cook, a VERY slow ramp to post-cure temp would be fine.

Plasco offers a good High inpact / room /High Temp / laminating system . Sales office - contact Rolland Lathem 586-752-0510 / cell 586-530-3633 and no i am not a sales - person for this Co .

I , post something in regards to your post and i end up with no posting at all and this forum telling me that a mod has to review it prior .

Download the Huntsman “app” and see if there is something for you. (There is, but my phone is dead)

Do you find it hard to get resin amounts in sub pallet amounts?

Huntsman materials are the best. But I hate sourcing the stuff.

You find the perfect resin system. Then find it to be a special order 8-10 week lead. Or the distributor will only deal in full pallets.

or for plastics, a bloody truck load.
No, I do NOT need 15 tons of pellets…I need 10 pounds :-/

fOR WHAT IT IS WORTH …THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE REPLIED TO THIS THREAD …AND EVERY POST …DELETED !!!

But it won’t change the thermal properties that much of the resin.
