Ignoring the colors, which was my mistake anyway…Kevlar and Glass with PA12 sheath. Plain weave with 20 ends per inch. 10 x 10 pattern in warp and weft.
Yarns buggered the helds because of the plastic sheath crinking, so it would get stuck in the helds. Was trying to use the Kevlar and glass as weft as well, but the glass was breaking, so i switched to Nomex tow.
WIll process at 475F, under plain vacuum just to see what happens with the coloring, and if the Nomex gets impregnated at all.
Now, to get REAL yarns to weave!
