Hydrofoil Kiteboard

Hi all. I’d like to show you my lasts work about composites.

I’m very found in Hydrofoil kiteboarding, so in the past 10 years I do some models.
This is the last one.
The idea was to build something different from the models on the market, an hydrofoil easy, stable, and possibly fast.

Some pictures:

In this video you can see the first trials.

In this one the building process for the board.

I hope you like

Wow nice! I’ve always been interested in kiteboarding.

Your work looks fantastic!

beautiful work! congrats!

did you also make to hydrofoils?

Looks awesome, great work!

Nice concept and the composite work looks first class too. The board itself looks fabulous too with that spread tow twill weave!

wow and awesome work mate. Benissimo

thank you very much, i’m pleased that you like.

The board itself looks fabulous too with that spread tow twill weave!
Also in my oponion the spread tow is gerat for the large surfaces.

And for Tbar a biggest spread tow

The new board, that is growing , has a very very special spread tow

did you also make to hydrofoils?
Yes, of course

Here some other wings

And the box for GPS

Very nice work!

It really is something extraordinary what you are doing there…
congratulations my friend…good inspiration you are

Never seen fabric like that. And your handcut designs are pretty wild, can’t imagine not using a stencil.

Workmanship like this “does’t fall out of the air”, what is your background, purely hobby? Most companies who work with composites can’t produce such things with this quality. Nice scorpion too

what is your background, purely hobby?

Thanks, for me is an hobby … with a lot of passion, in every work (usually sports equipements) I try to do something new to improve methods and skills.

Nice scorpion too

I love it, it’s my logo

Never seen fabric like that

That on the surf was commercial, not that in the photo :D. At this moment I’m doing something very special about spread tow (and Hydrofoil of course)… You have to wait a little bit (a couple of months )

And obviously, the scorpion on the top

It really is something extraordinary what you are doing there…
congratulations my friend…good inspiration you are

I’m glad that you like, thanks

New year… new board
The board is nearly finished, now I’ve to start with a new, strange, hydrofoil.

Thank you for sharing your craft. Amazing

Looks freaking awesome man! Good work!

How are you cutting the stenciled parts?

stunning work,congrats

Thanks I’m pleased that you like. and ins’t yet completed…

How are you cutting the stenciled parts?

with a sharp knife, like as you can see in the video (but obviously not so fast  )
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWn100jdyY0

A little trick often I need also sanding a little bit the edge because cutting with a knife it’s difficult to follow complex lines.

I’ts quite easy with the 160 gr spread tow, it’s a little bit harder with the 200 gr spread tow.
I’m not sure that it’s possible whith other fabrics

Great video man, I appreciate that. Nice to see you working.

You’re just free handing those cuts too? Great craftsmanship!

I just scanned it now, i’ll have to watch it when I get home.

awesome ! just shows you dont need a fancy CNC to make great looking parts …

although … id like to see what bruce would come up with using a cnc

Wow! Gorgeous!

The build video of the foil board was wonderful. Can you step through the finish technique you used to get that perfect clear gloss surface? I see you strip off a sort of peel (what is that stuff?). Is that the last step? Was there an additional PUR coat after? Auto Clear coat? Epoxy only?

How did you like the double wing foil compared to a single?

I Love it!!!
