Hello all!!
I stumbled across this site, and I am impressed! Seems like a wealth of knowledge is present and I can’t wait to contribute. I’m a Senior at the University of Texas at Arlington for Mechanical Engineering, graduating in December. I’ve taken the Introduction to Composites and I’m currently in the Advanced Composites course. My Senior design project is designing a double A-arm suspension, made of carbon fiber, for one of the school’s race cars. The arms will be fixed to the frame and will act as the springs, essentially composite beams in bending.
I’ve also done several little parts like some carbon fiber intercooler pipes for my buddy’s Cummins turbo diesel. I can’t wait to contribute and share knowledge.
