Wouldnt mind making some new wheel pants out of CF but “I aint got time for dat”. I have attached a picture of the pant. I was thinking that I could cut a slit down the crack so I can open it up some more in order to get a slurry mix of micro ballons between the crack and then add a layer or two of fiberglass on each side. What do you think?
Freeze/maintain alignment of wheelpant with popsicle sticks, etc and globs of bondo. Sand on each side of the crack to taper the joint. 1" per layer of glass. Fill this back in with glass and sand flush. Search Google Images for “fiberglass repair scarf joint”.

Sweet Brown! One of my favorite quotes. If you already have the materials then use what you have, otherwise Bondo is the way to go plus fiberglass.
Use a hot glue gun to ‘stitch’ along the crack with the Popsicle sticks…it’s sturdy and MUCH easier to remove.
