How to keep your nuts from twisting

hehe  or more accurately… spinning freely. Although I don’t think any of us has the technology ( perhaps a bolt of ligtning?)

i started reading through this and while i am interested in what it is about, tbh i am having a bit of difficulty reading this doco, could you possibly just give a little bit of a basic run down on it??

Basically you put a metal insert, one with some specific chemical properties, and carbon fiber together. Then you heat them both up and what happens is the metal actually fuses to the carbon itself. Their examples also show ways to bond steel to carbon fiber using a titanium paint of sorts.
Seems neat, a better way to bond the strength bearing elements together, instead of having to rely on the matrix to transfer load.

with nuts you need surface area more than anything else.
