How does one get the aerial density of a preform?
I have a 7.5" sq., 8 layer preform, 96.5g in weight.
How can I get the weight in oz/yd2 on it? I can’t find anything out online :-/
i’m sure it’s simple math, but that is NOT my highlight.

hope i understand what you asking
96.5g = 3.40393oz
/8 = .425491 oz per ply
each ply = 56.25sq"
1sq yd = 1296 sq"
1296/56.25 = 23.04 X .425491 = 9.8oz/sq.yrd per ply
I love you!!!
yup, that is exactly what I need!
as long as thats brotherly love then i love you too. LOL
