I want to produce small carbon fiber parts of a very simple shape. I have been learning and using infusion for larger parts but I don’t think this method would be the way to go with the smaller parts.
I have read that there is what’s called compression molding although I have no idea how to do it. Does anyone have any information they can share about this method? I would want my parts to be void free as they will be cosmetic pieces.

Compression moulding is typically only worthwhile for higher volumes of parts, so it will likely come down to that, primarily because tooling and capital costs are high. What applications, volumes, resins, etc are you planning on?
