Anyone use styrene to thinn out resin? if so how much %by weight did you mixed?
How does it compare with PUR resin that already has low viscosity? (look and structure wise)
Do you mean “PER”? I usually just splash an approx. 1/8" top layer in and mix it to see how thin it is then before adding the MEKP. But I use acetone…
I have mixed it 10% with PER and VER with no problem you just need to add in the styrene amount to the resin total when you add the MEKP: 10oz resin 1oz Styrene mix in MEKP for 11oz of resin.

We use styrene to thin poly resin, in order to hand laminate high quality Eglass motorcycle parts.
Works very well indeed, and is pretty fast and cost effective in comparision to other means of production.
