How long to wait before clear coating

On overlays how long should I wait before I can clear coat with urethane over Silmar 249 resin?
I usually give the resin at least 16 hrs to cure then I sand and then clear coat. I’m just wondering what the least amount of time is required for the resin to cure prior to sanding and clear coating. I would like to cut my production time down.

Always check with the resin manufacture’s website for post cure procedures to get it right. You don’t want to exceed the Tg if at all possible. If it is posted as a room cure resin, some post cure will help to avoid print through after you’ve cleared and polished the parts.
