For the parts you guys have made, what made you decide how many layers you where going to use in your lay-up? I know there are many variables that is why I asked how YOU decided for YOUR project. Did anyone do any testing to know that say 5 layers was perfect and 6 was just wasting money and weight with no added benefits?
Experience or do what I had my students do: test panels say 5" x 5" with different reinforcment materials and layers too. Keep them in a notebook to refer back too…
