Hola,

We just did a trial run on an old hatch cover before setting up to vacuum bag some balsa core into a sailboat deck repair.
Everything went “ok” despite some effort to find and seal leaks around the perimeter of the patch. The problem occured after we finish the test and tried to remove the AirTech High Tack Bag Sealing Tape from the mold. Is there an easy way to remove the tape?
In our real shot the tape will be applied to the undamaged deck surrounding the patch…

Which tape did you use? Airseal 2HT?

When you grab it, you can pull it and it will release from the part. You just need to “reel in” some 10 meters of tape for every meter of tape applied, as it stretches like nothing else.

Another option is to apply flash tape before applying sealant tape.
