Im looking for a high quality Gel coat with good clarity for use in a carbon product Im also looking for something that will polish well to a durable high gloss finish. Any ideas would be great. It also needs to be available in the UK

try scott bader. they do an epoxy compatible polyester gelcoat. means you can laminate with poly,ve or epoxy resin systems

It was used on the Artemis 20s several were done with carbon show hulls. Here is a pic Hilary Listers Artemis she is a quadriplegic and sailed round Britain in it. She controled the boat by sip" or a “puff” semaphore. These straws are connected to sensitive pressure switches on a computer, programmed operate steering sails etc. An amazing and inspiring achievement and a nice project to work on.
