Hi from NSW Australia!

Hi guys

I was naughty and posted about my projects with a brief introduction about myself instead of creating a thread in the introduction section.

Seems like my replys to the comments made require verification from admins, so I figured maybe I should properly introduce myself.

My names Mitchell, I work for a fibreglass resin manufacturer in Australia and my Job is pretty much in sales. I have made the resin, but obviously can’t comment too much on it besides generic information. Our main business is pool companies, and then shipwrights.

I’m trying to gain experience, and I’ve picked up a lot on my own, but still have much to learn in the ways of technique.

My main interest is car parts, but would like to move onto conversion kits, boats (large and small, just ones to play with), and cool prototypes.

I’ve attempted my k11 Micra bonnet mould 4 times now, and the latest attempt is nearly a winner. Number 5 looks like the one. I probably should have started with a easier project, but I don’t regret it. I’ve learned so much each time.

Interested in possibly getting to know some local blokes, Maybe get together and learn a thing or two off each other, or Maybe someone with experience that’s willing to give me a few instructions  more than happy to show what I’ve learned, and my theoretical knowledge on fibreglassing and composites.

Cheers guys!
Mitchell
