Hex Core

I have sample of hexagonal foam core in my office but don’t currently have a source for it or any contact information for a manufacture. Does anyone know where to find core similiar to this?

Thanks,
Rich

Great, that’s the stuff. Thanks Wobcomp

I would love to know if anyone has used this stuff.

I will send an email to the company to see if they have a distributor in the US.

Thanks again.

Rich,

I’ve used it. I found the stiffness of this stuff is really good. Relatively light too. Although understandably more resin usage due to hexagonal cross linking of the skins.

Last I dealt with them there were no US distributors. I wish it was easier to get, I would recommend this stuff.

I also think that NIDACORE sells (re-sells?) Something similar.

We have contacted NidaCore recently about their product. The currently do not sell/resell it. I wish they did because the samples I have conform so well to our molds.

I am currently using Soric XF/SF and would welcome a lower density thicker core choice that was as easy to work with.

In our test panels we found that the hex cells did a fairly good job preventing the local delamination from spreading.

I guess we will have to wait until they get a US distributor or Nida sorts out whatevery they will be offering.

Thanks,
Rich
