I am new to composites and very interested in starting but I would like to know where you get supplies and equipment? Where is the best place to go for price and quality? I am based in the uk.

Depending on what you want carr reinforcements,john burn,mould life,east coast fibreglass,easy composites,base,huntsman etc
There are many others but depends where you are and what you are planning to do ?
Easy composites are the easiest site to use and meant for the diy operator but every thing they sell can be sourced from the original supplier
i want to start trying to make car body panels and interior pieces as a hobby to begin with, I am based in Wales so anywhere in the u.k that deleiverz would do fine 
do you have any recommendations for pumps, de gassing chambers, good reliable equipment?
Where shouts in wales ? I have a house in Norfolk but also got a place in Port Talbot
You can get cheap pumps on ebay,degassing pot you can make yourself easily enough if you want to go really cheap
Consumables- breather,release,bag etc would use vac innovation all day long an easy comp for a few specialized bits
