Help with excessive draining!

Hi all, I have just been reading a thread started by CarbonMike about him getting air in his infusion. I think I am getting the same thing (excessive draining). Can you end up pulling the resin out of your part if you leave the pump on to long? How can I ajust the pressure of the vacuum pump? I can leave the part for over 24hours with no drop in HG so theres no leaks. This is mikes thread http://www.compositescentral.net/showthread.php?t=3582
He only says he clamps off the outlet tube once the part is infused. Would this leave excess resin in the part? Any help will be very helpful

Just thought I would add there is some writing on the part I am making and the cloth doesn’t sit fully into it. Should this not just fill up with resin?

end your infusion media and laminate before the vacuum source, have just peel ply connecting between vac and laminate

sorry but I am not really sure what you mean?

just have a few inches of space between your laminate and mesh and where you pull vacuum. use peelply to bridge the gap from vac source to laminate.

How does that stop the resin being pulled out of the voids? sorry dont mean to sound rude I just like to understand how it works! Thanks.

one layer of peelply has a low permability, but high enough to pull air out

seems an easy fix thanks I will try that!
