I am embarking on a homebuilt aircraft journey soon and wanted to get opinions from people who work with modern composites. I am planning to build a Long EZ starting in January. The EZ community has tried and true methods going back 30 years. There are also tried and true suppliers for almost all their needs. However, there is very little information about modern products, materials, and methods from this community. Most suggest doing no experimenting. I am just looking for a place where I can get good information about modern methods and materials.
I guess you have come to the place. Make sure you show what you are doing, and people will jump in with comments and advise.
Of all the forums I visit, this is probably the most friendly one, with great atmosphere.
