My names Ethan, and I found this site while looking for reasons why my second mold for making a carbon hood for my race car didn’t turn out as expected. I have been restoring and modifying cars since before I could drive. I currently race an 88 Ford Thunderbird TC for autocross and is heavily prepped. Second fastest car in my local region, and this year I aimed at dropping weight. Need to drop another 135# to meet minimum weight. Figured I could get near that with a carbon hood and trunk lid.
