Hello from Nor-Cal

Welp, I came across this site looking for information. I am trying to decide if it’s worth my while to build my own composite parts. I have turned my production car into a race/track only car. I need some aerodynamic parts made for my car that are not readily available in mass production. So I have to either adapt universal parts or make my own. That brings me here.

Hi Chris,

Nice project. But you know the saying: PICS or it didnt happen!

I am sure that, when you post pics with the comment “how would you do” you will be flooded with advice.

Here’s my car. It’s a huge amount of work for one guy. There’s blood and sweat in this thing.

And I will be asking “how would you” cause it’s a great way to learn and I appreciate any and all input.

Welcome!

Aero has brought many to this forum. You’ll always have the need for composites to work their way into any race car, it’s a natural occurrence .

While the materials can get quite pricey and the learning curve steep… You’ll learn a ton and feel good when you hit your goals .
