Hi all, I am new to this forum, but not new to composites. I am a prosthetist and utilize fiberglass and carbon fiber in making artificial limbs. I do, however, only have a small grasp of what I can do with this technology. I am starting a small central fabrication lab out of my garage, to make composite prosthetic devices for other businesses that do not have fabrication facilities, nor like their patient evaluation areas to smell like resin. I am currently setting up shop for prepreg. I joined this forum to learn as much as I can, and possibly integrate other types of fabrication processes and/or materials into the prosthetics arena. If anyone uses composites in the healthcare industry, please PM me, I would like to learn more.
