Heavy duty Tooling Kevlar Roll on EBAY....

I was cleaning up at theclassroom over the spring break (break, ha…) and found a few more complete rolls of Heavy duty Tooling 16.5 oz. (Sq. yard) Kevlar Rolls and I placed one on EBAY with the starting price of $750.00.

I did a net search and only could find 13.5 oz. Kevlar and it was close to $60.00 per yard! Let’s see, 50 yard roll x $60.00 per yard= $3,000.00 and the funds goes to my class for supplies, replacement tools and improvements…

We have 1 bid on the roll…do I hear $800.00! Remember, the funds go to my Calif. (the state with school cutbacks…thanks Arnold…) Free Fiberglass and Plastcis ROP job training program…

hmmmm let’s see Arnold and who was he hanging around with in november? hmmm maybe there’s a connection there!

If someone buys it could they write that off as a donation? Just curious because it is going to a cause. I know when you buy girl scout cookies you can write that off as donations

link to the auction? If you ever clean up your classroom and find full rolls of carbon let me know

I guess I could be talked into giving the auction winner a tax donation reciept…but I’m kind of trying to keep it under the radar as it was donated too many years ago to us…

Sorry, no carbon fiber except for what I’ll buy from the Kevlar sales for my students to use like overlaying their computer cases…and now I’ll be able to buy Epoxy resins too…

Being a race car racer and that I slept on it…I figure a way around this if the winning bidder would like a tax deduction reciept, they would get one from the ROP for donating a new Robinair vacuum pump, Epoxy resin and maybe some carbon fiber cloth…just if you are the winning bider, E-mail me asap when the auction is over and state you read it here and want the reciept!

Thanks Evan for everything…
