Here is a hatch panel for a Saab (of course if you know me by now) that I did an overlay on. Sanded the piece first, then applied carbon, resin, resin, more resin, sand, sand, more sand and then clear. I do have to say that the angles on this were a real bitch.
very nice. i have made on of these for my VW and it looks pretty good.

Hey Doug, I did have a number of seams. I tried my best to put them just under the edges. Its either use a number of pieces or get a lot of distortions in the weave.
