I am looking for input on what design you used and heating sources. Maybe a short shopping list or pictures would be nice. I don’t want to just go buy an old kitchen oven. For some reason I think they may have hot spots in them. I was thinking a simple way would be to build an insulated box with a heat gun x 4 at each corner. This would give me a circulating effect but I’m not sure if you could get things hot enough for curing prepreg. Please share your ideas.
Heat gun is an excellent idea because it gets super hot. It worked well for me until the gun went out. Well the heating element still works but the fan died. There’s this insulated foam board called TUFF-R that you can get to build your box. It’s lined with tin foil and you can find it at Home Depot or Lowes.
Ideas. get a setable thermistat that you can wire to a timer that will keep your heat source at the set temp. Also use a fan to serculat the air. I think theres some more ideas talked about, listed. read somemore…
how big are the parts you going to do?? I got this for my carbon intake and intercooler tubes. It works amazingly well
