So, i got the gel coat gun in. #6 tip. WOW that hole is HUGE!!! no wonder things go through it. But, wouldnt things just fall out if i dont have it tilted up?
What are the best ways to spray with it. any tips. I want to get all these tips before 2morrow night when i spray a mold.

The lids are HDPE and shouldn’t need waxing to remove cured PER (anyways, you should always clean the cap and gun asap in heated water base resin emulisifier or a acetone bucket) but I did ours anyways.
Get your paper cups (36 oz.) from Smart and Final, but the last time I had to custom order up a full case of them at $100! I still have most of that case left over…
I also recommend dbl. cupping the cups to the gun to better secure them.
Make 100% the paper cups are fully snapped on to the lids…or you will be wearing it as I have before.
I scrape the lids resin after spraying as much as I can back into the cup and set the cup with the resin (keep the dbl. upped cup foe later use again if possible) ia a safe place to test it when the resin gets to the “B” stage than disturb the gel coated part…
Use old newspaper to wipe as much as resin off before cleaning the lid and gun…
