Got bored so I built some mold racks

Well I got bored and built me some mold racks a little while ago. The board has been dead lately so might as well post something lol!

all my 103 molds

just for shiz and giggles me drinking with Jesus in Vegas last weekend hahaha

only 103 molds?

lol, yeah I know we are lacking. We just finished up 11 molds last week so we got 114 now

Damn.
But, looking at your website, yeah I can see why you would have a few molds!
Most everything we have is a splash off a mold, and then another hightemp mold…and then tons of bad/wrong pieces that i don’t know why we still have!
Then there is the 300lbs hunk of Aluminum for the SMALLEST part we have.

ps: you look like the main guy from Hackers. Johnathan somethingorother.

hee.

bwahahah that is funny. That was a good movie. we just had a huge blemish sale, like over 200 screwed up parts but we sold about 150 of them so far and have been making a killing on them! best idea we have had so far!

obviously you have much larger parts than I do but I just drill a hole and if needed, epoxy in a dowel and hang my parts off the ceiling.

Im working in my garage so space is limited.

we did that for a little while but when we made our 11th hood mold they started to take up a lot of space!!

Here is my latest pic hahahaha. their was a post on honda-tech to throw shockers up with your username and I was bored so I did lol

here it is hahaha… Damn I bored

are you guys using poly or vinyl or epoxy?

Im curious as to how the guys using epoxy make a surface coat that doesnt make the uneven texture push the weave out of wack…

nice sign, should say “I love Hybridracers as much as camel toe”

I use all 3  When using epoxy I still use a poly clear gel, it does leave a little surface but I wetsand that out

so you shoot your poly clear and then layup with epoxy?

Im just tired of the wanna be badass peeps are always wanting to tell the public about how gelcoat cracks and spiders when it gets hit or goes down (motorcycle) I just laugh as any cosmetic part in carbon is junk no matter what if it gets damaged. If you can see the stuff…its junk when it gets hit.

yep, just shoot my gel coat then do an epoxy layup
