Good or bad Videos, DVD's, books and the like.....

OK, let’s have this thread as way to inform others of good or bad (I wasted some money on Ebay videos… ) Videos, DVD’s or books:

Bad or a waste of money and time: Select Products #3, $50.00 + to short, bad information about GP PER resins and is just about speaker enclosures.

Excellant DVD: Freeman Supply company, (800) 321-8511 or www.freemansupply.com $13.95 delivered!
Covers mostly making and casting molds from different materials like PUR and Silicones but also composite molds (simple and multi part molds) and epoxy paste mold build up. I forget how much I paid on Ebay for this but it was worth every penny. It will be a great addition to my class.

I did just paid for a 3 or 4 DVD set ($105.00) on everything from speaker boxes to making gauge panels for interior posts…I’ll get back to everyone on that after getting them and checking them out.

Books: Still one of the best, Fiberglass & Composite Materials from Forbes Aird HP books ISBN 1-55788-239-8

Anyone else want to contribute???

i bought the full fibreglast set lol.not very much help at all really and best avoided.

I just got the full fibreglast set in today. Haven’t watched it yet and really wouldn’t know if they are good or not. Please tell me why it’s best avoided.

its a good starter but pretty basic and the carbon stuff is huge.

It depends on your personal Fiberglass / Composites experience level…great for beginners and I even picked up a few tricks too…

i’ll double the freeman generic video off ebay. learned enough to change my mold making process for the better. best 12$ whatever i spent.

i actually found a pretty good resource for me off of “emule” if anyone knows what that is… it’s a JL audio “how to make a speaker enclosure” in .pdf. if anyone wants a backup copy because they lost their original let me know… i’d also be interested in getting a backup copy of some of the other instructional video’s that are out there for my archives.
