German firm attempting to make 3 minute curing carbon fiber

So here’s a link to the AutoBlog article regarding the progress / goals:

http://www.autoblog.com/2014/10/15/researchers-halfway-cutting-carbon-fiber-costs-90-percent/

There is a link within the article to the actual manufacturer, but I didn’t see a translation for that specific news item (re: 3 minute curing).

However, if someone is fluent in German it may be useful!

I remeber reading about ferrari or lamborghini doing some test on fast curing some monocoque chassis.

and BMW is making the i3 and curing them in 5 minutes. For auto manufacturing this is borderline too slow… they want closer to the 3 minute or less mark. but with no bonding, or little secondary operations. Speed is the name of the game for cars i right?

forgot, here is an article on the i3: http://www.automotivemanufacturingsolutions.com/focus/how-an-i3-is-born

they’ve invested a huge amount of money into this project… but then they plan to make more CF vehicles, including wheels, in the future.
