Can tooling gel coat be stored in a plastic squeeze bottle like these without melting the plastic ( and no catylist added)?
They say PER and epoxy so yes, they will work for storing PER gel coats.
But store them in a cool (even an old working refrigerator) place out of the sun.
Better yet, get a small bottle of Nitrogen and spray a little in while closing it to seal off oxygen to the resin.
Interesting, where can i buy a small container of nitrogen gas? Oh wait like a small welding bottle type container… only nitrogen. Maybe Praxair or maybe i’ll look into buying a small bar size fridge.
Currently i store my resins indoors in a closed box… about 75-79F degrees.
Also, does those containers come with LIDS?
