Already removed off Ebay as sold early but…:
…but guess you gets to pick it up this weekend?
…well after a 14 hour driving day round trip (ok, we stopped by a few areospace surplus hardware shops in Burbank and spent many dollars…), I picked the '63 ragtop Bug body molds up (this guy has a fricken musuem on Disney Herbie car, movie set props, posters, movies at his home! I’ll upload the pictures to an online photo book for all to view soon) and got them back to the classroom.
I had to make the desion where’re the molds would need to go: classroom or home (If I’m not coming back next semster to teach, I’m setting up a backyard set up) but since I still have not had a face to face meeting with the ROP director and I don’t want my 14 years of work to go down the drain, I’m trying to save the program as I have an adult student to take over the teaching position and I’m trying to get the school to hire me as the aide to help him learn the system.
But to get a teacher an emergency teaching credation, it takes 3 + months, unlike when I got picked to teach the run down program, it was done in days…
I might have to finish out the year as the teacher and have this new replacement teacher get hired as the aide and me the legal teacher. But I’m going to have him run the class and I’ll be the aide so I can work with the adults and the students that really want to learn this career / craft!
I’m going to post you the mold pictures and how I am going to modified, prep them (semi pernament mold released…), a way to make a test mule part and the full correct way to make a whole 1 pice body in the future but some picture steps soon.
