Fs: Foam Core For Infusion

3/8" thick, approx 4.5lb density, grid scored and perforated urethane foam core.

Excellent core for infusion or wet layup. Acts as a flow media to distribute resin to both sides, so doesn’t need additional flow media over it. Very strong and light, and makes super strong and stiff panels even just using fiberglass.
The sheets are about 48"x48" and were purchased for testing purposes. Before it discolors from sitting in my office, I thought some of you may be interested since it’s nearly impossible to acquire without buying by the case or pallet.

Price is only $49 per sheet or $90 for 2. If you want more, let me know and we’ll work something out to clear up space!

Yes, make some room for my large scale projects that you are working on for me!

Thanks for all the PM’s. I responded to those interested.
Still have 7 sheets here.

TET, could you PM me a price for 4 ? I really wish it was .25 instead.

PM sent. 3/8 is the next size up from the 1/4" sheets. Weight increase is almost nothing, but stiffness does go up a bit.
Do you have fittings or some sort of component that needs to go with the 1/4" core + skins?

I can use the 3’8ths for roofs, but I need 1/4 for front chin lip/splitters.

Sorry, foam core is all gone.

Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Splitter’s can’t be too stiff! Have you seen touring car and single seater splitters? 1/2"-2". The ones we supply for teams are usually 3/4" core with 1/8" skins and a radiused lower edge.

Was a great deal while it lasted. If we have any other surplus in the shop, I will try to post it here.

Yep thickness = stiffness,

WOW that is very thick skins to be using on a race car from my experience TET, what sort of cars are these for?
