I’m looking for somebody to send me 2 bottles of 770 or 770nc frekote… cause the local dealership will only sell me a gallon, and i cant use that within the shelf time…
also sites wont send me cause its hazardous material. can anyone help?i dont mind paying something extra for the trouble…
At Sampe I talked to Frekote and other semi perm. mold releases does not have a shelf life!
somebody told me that once opened you gotta use it within 6 months… the solution would be to order a box of half litre containers…but that still is a whole lotta money! im not a pro, so that will last me for many years!
my bottle of 770NC has 2 years and it`s still working
I still have lots of TR systems and still works great! I’d sell some off but the shipping boxes and such are a PITA!
semi permanents without a doubt have a shelf life, both air and humidity break down the release lowering its release properties. if you use channel locks to open close your semi permanents tight you can get 6-12 months of a shelf life, but if you half ass closed your container it could only last a month or even less. If your looking for a good brand semi, I highly recommend Axel xtr sealer and 818 release agent, they work so much better than freekote. they also have a huge line of other releases and sealers for other applications.
