I’m selling my Robinair 15600 vacuum pump. I believe it is a 6cfm. I can look up the full details and post them here tomorrow.
It is a “cooltech” model if that makes any difference. I changed the oil regularly, but it is due for another change of oil. I will include a pint of new pump oil with it.
It pulls a full 29hg with no problem and will hold it for many hours. I’ve let it run for 12 hours at a time. I have made about 30 parts with it.
It did once overload from heat I think because it was not pulling full vacuum the pump got hot and shut down from thermal overload. I let it sit overnight turned off and unplugged. The next day i changed the oil and it started up like nothing happened to it. Since then it has had around 130 hours of service put on it.
I paid $190 or so for it and will consider serious offers. buyer pays actuall shipping cost + a $5. handling fee since it’s a heavy sucker, around 25 or 30 lbs of weight. I have to buy a box for it for shipping and padding, hence the $5 fee.
The outside of the pump is in very nice condition, no scratches or oil leakage. It comes with a factory 2ft 120V cord attached.
