Flat floor for car, MDF any good??

Hi i want to make a flat floor for my track/race skyline.

can i use mdf sheet to make it with, i know a lot of people use plywood but mdf is nearly a quarter of the price.

Will it work ok with mdf, does fibreglass & resin stick to mdf?

make a panel with carbon/foam off a sheet of glass. MDF is so heavy and dense and would delame very quick and would soak up water if got wet. Dont ruin your skyline, do it right.
