There’s an old pump in my schools lab but it’s broken. I’ve taken it apart to check the motor and the pump separately and it turns out the motor works fine but the pump itself is seized. I was wondering if anyone has any tips.

Maybe the bearing for the pump has seized, just needs a good lubing… loks like it might have been used for water
probably one of those things you have to take apart and see what is wrong. 
Yea I’m gonna do that tomorrow. Vacuum pumps have tight tolerances though so I hope I can fix it without ruining it
