Fittings / connectors for high end vacuum pumps

So I bought a CPS vacuum, hooked it up to catch pot for initial test run, only to find it couldn’t pull anything more than 26 in-Hg (we’re at 2800 ft elevation). I isolated for the pot to find out the pump itself was leaking. I re-snugged up the fittings, and then discovered that the vacuum had eaten a hole through the metal case of the brand new pump . So…

I’m returning that “Made in USA” :stuck_out_tongue: one to buy a used Leybold Trivac D4A. After some reading up, it looks like they don’t use normal fittings. Anyone have an idea where I can get the correct fittings and how to adapt to a 1/4" NPT or barb fitting?

Looks like a kf 16 to me but then you need to measure it to be sure. At http://www.pchemlabs.com/maincatagory.asp?pid=Fittings-and-Flanges you can find whatever you need.
