Filling holes!

I have a part that I want to make out of carbon fibre but the plastic part has holes that I dont want on the finished part. What can I use to fill in the holes? I want the finish to be nice and smooth to. Thanks!

Use modelling clay

i want a finish like when you use filler. Cant get it right with modeling clay.

use filler hehehehe

If you take your time you can make clay look flat and shiny

If it’s a pattern that you are going to paint then it doesn’t really matter what you use, but yes you can sand filler smooth

will filler stick to plastic or will it crack off?

Itl crack off if you pull at it, but itl be fine. I use joint compound (4.5 gallons at a hardware store for 15 bucks). I use clay to fill in the insides of my parts, then I plate my parts on a plate of glass. I then take joint compound with a bondo spreader and just fill in the sides. I’ll try to post pictures later on. It works great. Its thicker than bondo, doesnt sag, and gives you a very long work time. Some say to use plaster of paris, but that stuff dries fast.
