Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites

Hi everybody
I am Phd student and interesting in Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites. As you know , there are various applications of asymmetric and unbalanced composites currently.

Actually, I have fabricated a composite samples with layup sequence as [+45/ 0 / 0 / 90 /90 / 0 /0/-45] for testing and investigations

My question :
is this layup is asymmetric and unbalanced composites or asymmetric and balanced composites?
and what is the proper application for this type?

balanced and un-symmetric because of the + and - 45s

symmetric would have equal number of ± 45s either side of line of symmetry.

like [+45/ 0 / 0 / 90 /90 / 0 /0/+45]

for Symmetric it is clear now ,
But for Balanced: +45/-45 availability regardless of the distance of the respective layers to the midline. please confirm ?

Actually, the composite samples with layup sequence as [+45/ 0 / 0 / 90 /90 / 0 /0/-45] were tested and an excellent strength enhancement was gained. Specifically, by using of SWCNTs and GNPs the UTS is enhanced by 40% 30% ,respectively. In addition, 9 % improvement in ILSS.

So, what is the suggested applications for this composite type .
