I am working on making another gas tank and was considering using some form of mechanical fastener to hold certain components on. Something like Rotoloc or similar.
The question I have is this: since this will be housing fluid, is this advisable? Can I do this in a way that is certain not to leak?

Glue them on. (use Plexus glue)
and that is strong enough? forgive me as I am still somewhat new to composites but I guess I am old school enough to still think that mechanical fastening is better than chemical bonding (and I know that isnt correct these days)
If thats the case I guess I can just bond the plates I need rather than using mechanical at all.
