Epoxy attack XPS foam

Up to where I know epoxy shouldn’t attack XPS foam, but unfortunately I have seen that it’s not completely true, when I have infused parts with XPS foam I can see that it attacks XPS, especially over sections where resin flow is bigger. I suppose that resin have a bit of some solvent type, then, What type of resin would I use for XPS parts?

Thanks

I would bet that you suffered an exothern reaction that burned away the eps. I suffered that…

Infusion epoxy will not attack the XPS. Maybe you have an exothermic reaction like written before or the XPS collapsed by the vacuum.

Hi thanks for the reply, but do I not think that problem is caused for heat, I hadn’t feel heat, nothing to be able to feel with my hand, I have very infused small thickness, using resin infusion with pot live more than 2 hours, at room temperature below 18 ° C and I always have these problems.
Some pics here:

This angle should be 45 °, but narrower edge disappeared.

In these parts, where the resin is propagated only by the foam (resin thickness ridiculous here), and yet some foam disappeared…

How could I avoid?

Thanks
