Man, looks like great prices and he even has latex & silicone casting products too! I did invite him, just now, to join us on here…
Wonder what the viscosity of the “green” epoxy is? Tried to call but no answer. If I find out I will let you know.
I use that epoxy on a daily basis. I enjoy it and have not had problems
When Epoxies does “blush”…how to polish it off? My students have been pouring layers of Hawaiian Epoxy on (got to use it up…) their CF Pre-preg clipboards (I kind of like the water base clear coating for the wood…) and they are blushing…
I’ve been too busy trying to finish our PUR foam, knock down oven and adding digital read out with thermocouples to our old oven to play with fixing the blushing coatings yet!
Talked to John Greer and the mixed viscosity is about 600 cps. So, it sounds like a good possibility for infusion. It is not UV stable, but with a good clear coat this should not be an issue. The pot life is about 30 min so you would need to plan infusion ports accordingly.
These were infused with it. I personally like the stuff.
Hood and Hatch too
wow how does the roof attache???
Looks like good stuff.
It is just a cap. You can use Industrial 366 double sided tape that would NEVER come off or you can silicone it in which is how this customer did
I take it that Industrail dbl. side tape is a FILM tape and not foam. We used something like that to hold PC / PMMA sheets to templates for profile routering.
