Duratec polyester top coat

Ive been calling around today trying to get a data sheet for that Duratec polyester top coat, it am unable to find somebody with the info. Can somebody please help me with the information for both the PE and VE versions? Just to be clear. I’m not interested in the tech sheets for the high gloss additive, just the actual PE and VE resins you can add the additive to.

I’m looking to use this as an in mold coating for cosmetic carbon fiber parts. I. Hoping this is clear enough, easy to spra, and can have a decent to high HDT value.

P.s all parts are coated with a high end automotive clear coat so Uv protection isn’t an issue.

Thanks!

John

BTW - you shouldn’t have to add additive to this. I use it for finishing plugs. Some guys here complain of it having a yellowing effect when used on finished carbon parts.

Thanks for the links shoe! I’ve been working with marine clear gel coat resin. At first I was having lots of problems with hazing of the gel coat. I found out that was with me using too much PVA, in too hot of a temperature, (florida) adding the gel coat too fast, and then doing all of this during high humidity. I’m sure that all that was helping the PVA absorb into the gel coat.
