Double Sided Glossy Sheet

Hey Guys, firstly thank you to all the members out here helping out. i have studied and researched for about a month and ive come to this conclusion

My requirement firstly is to have a 2.5mm carbon fiber sheet with both sides having an a class finish. the size of the sheet is 300mm by 300mm and thickness is 2.5mm.

After discussing internal flow media, prepreg with autoclave and hot presses.

The best suggestions ive come across is too infuse between two sheets of glass without any flow media and keep a check on race tracking. These suggestions are from members who are doing the same thing to acheive a double sided sheet.

I have infused parts and wet layed before but im having trouble figuring out how would i achieve infusion between two sheets of glass like where the inlet and outlet for the vacuum will be positioned and any other details i need.
Would be so glad if a expert can help draw a diagram or maybe someone can point me to a video of this being done.

Really need to figure out this one soon, thanks for all the help again.

Depending on your resin viscosity, and pot life I think you may have issues successfully infusing 300mm without an internal flow media. Not saying its impossible, but will take a long time depending also on your fabric selection, along with mould, resin and ambient temperature. Adding Vectorply Micromesh in between each layer will make this infusion possible, but will still be a pretty slow infusion.

Seartex has a flow glas fabric. But I am sure you can only buy complete rolls or pallets. Maybe someone else has something similar. Somewhere here in the forum someone has posted something about a interlaminar flow media made from carbon. So search for that.
