Does elevation have an effect on Infusion?

I am planning to do a vacuum infusion of a 3 foot long fiberglass fin. I have a decent vacuum pump, and was wondering if elevation will have an effect on my vacuum.

I live at 4500 feet elevation.

I could drive down to sea level if this will yield better results. Any comments on whether I should do my infusion at sea level?

Yes, higher the altitude, the lower the atmospeheric pressure. less compaction on your part. That being said you can still infuse and you probably wont notice the difference.

I do infusion at about 4500’ with no issue.
