Digestion of polycarbonate

What is the best method of determining fibre volume fraction of polycarbonate reinforced Kevlar fibre composite. If it is the mtrix digestion method, what is the best chemical for this purpose?

ASTM D3171 mentions nitric acid, for some things. Thermoplastics might be dissolved by sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide. ethylene glycol and potassium hydroxide might work as well.
Not fully knowing what Kevlar is attacked by, see what you can dissolve PC with (sure there are lists out there), and cross check it with what kevlar is ok with.

The standard riff mentions provides the best methods of compatible chemical digestion procedures. I also believe it’s nitric acid but take a look at the standard.
