here is another using gel coat, csm & what looks like vinylester resin. Notice the gun he uses for gel coat; also notice how he uses the paint brush up and down while ‘draging’ the brush… stipling so it saturates the csm without pulling on it. this also gets rid of some air bubbles and settles the mat down.

That layup is actually way more resin rich than it needs to be. If he would have used an aluminum/poly roller he would have a stronger mold and saved some money on resin.
