As some of you know I’m also into aero flow on race cars…
I remember watching the History channel when they showed how the dimples were first discovered and implemented.
Oddly enough…they were used to wrap bombs in dimpled spheres that later were dropped at speed at a lake so they could skip across the water and destroy a dam that the Germans used at a power plant. It worked perfectly.
Ahhhh…engineering is such great fun !
