I’m new to composites machining, but I’ve been doing some research to find general machining guidelines. For machining metals, we use the Machinery’s Handbook all the time. I’m wondering if there might be a similar reference out there for composite machining. Has anyone used something like this before?

Sandvik have been slowly putting together tools and information on machining composites. I think they have started to offer courses. Have a look online or contact your local Sandvik. http://www.sandvik.coromant.com/en-gb/products/composite-solutions/Pages/default.aspx
Their CoroDrill 452.1-C H10F series is great for drilling holes without fibre blow out.
