Anyone been at the Composites Engineering show at Birmingham NEC? Was there yesterday - the recession doesn’t seem to have affected the industry. Lots going on and was extremely well attended.
I visited on Wednesday, as a novice it was pretty overwhelming,
i basically wanted to see what i could learn, and get some info on materials suppliers etc…
very interesting all the same!
Hi bonobo - If you’re looking to learn more then this composites blog http://www.compositemachining.org/ is a really good resource.
Great great show, pity I could only spend a few hours there. could have talked to some of the people displaying there for days on end!
I saw the conference website. I really wish I could have gone. I’ll post here next time seeing if anyone wants to donate some tickets to the UK
Moved to engineering talk due to content
Is there a composites engineering show like this in the states?
Thanks I’ll take a look
I missed due to work dam!!
You really missed out mate. Something awesome stuff there. Really impressed with the water cutting machines.
Was a little let down with Force India’s F1 steering wheel. I was really expecting to much I think.
Yes, there’s the ACMA Composites Show in February. It’s held in Vegas.
